What is WORLDSymposium 2021

The WORLDSymposium 2021 conference, being held virtually Feb. 8-12, for lysosomal storage diseases is free for patients and patients families to attend.

“This is the conference where most of the scientists and researchers in the field of lysosomal storage diseases come together to share results, collaborate, and advocates for this disease group, which includes Sanfilippo Syndrome,” said Dr. Cara O’Neill, Chief Science Officer for Cure Sanfilippo Foundation.

The Foundation’s presence at WORLDSymposium 2021

Cure Sanfilippo Foundation will again have two poster presentations during WORLDSymposium. Additionally, Dr. O’Neill will again be presenting during the Emerging Trends portion of the conference.

Cure Sanfilippo will also have a virtual booth in the Exhibit Hall.

“We are making the best of the virtual setup this year and looking forward to connecting with researchers, scientists patient families, and regulatory leaders,” said Glenn O’Neill, President of Cure Sanfilippo Foundation.

COMPLIMENTARY REGISTRATION FOR PATIENTS AND PATIENT FAMILIES

To make the 2021 Annual Scientific Meetings more accessible for lysosomal disease patients, WORLDSymposium is offering complimentary registration to all lysosomal disease patients and their immediate family members. Complimentary WORLDSymposium patient access is specifically for patients who have been diagnosed with a lysosomal disease and their immediate family members (i.e., parents, siblings, or children). Complimentary patient access will not be issued to:

  • Advertising, marketing, or public relations representatives from exhibiting companies or their agencies.
  • Representatives of any investment or financial entity.
  • Representatives of organizations selling or producing products, publications, or websites intended for marketing, advertising or public relations purposes.
