On Wednesday, Aug. 19, the kids of Bright Light Summer Camp are giving back to their community by hosting “Connor Day” at Bell Tavern Park to raise funds to help cure Sanfilippo Syndrome. The Bright Light Sharks have chosen to wear purple, feast on pizza, and play fun Paw Patrol-themed games they have created for Connor Day 2020. It should be a fun day!

Two Sharks, Jack and James, have written about their friendship with Connor and what he means to them.

“I want to do the fundraiser for Connor because I have known him my whole life. He is one of my best friends, and I don’t know what I would do without him. I want to find the cure because I want him to be with his friends for longer.” – Jack

“I want to find a cure because I’ve known Connor for a long time and he is one of my best friends. He always makes me laugh and smile and he is the most kind person I know.So I really want a cure found for him”. – James

Cash or check donations (made payable to Cure Sanfilippo Foundation) will also be accepted and can be dropped off at Bright Light. The Sharks would like to announce the grand total of donations from our Bright Light team at our Talent Show on Friday, Aug. 21, so please make all donations by Friday, August 21, at 12:00 p.m.
