The Amazing Rhythm Disciples are doing it again: They are hosting the 2025 Save Lydia Concerts to help fund research and clinical trials for children with Sanfilippo Syndrome. Concerts will be held Oct. 5 at Trinity Baptist, Oct. 12 at First United Methodist, Nov. 2 at Siloam Baptist, Nov. 14 at Sabine Theater, and Nov. 16 at Westside Baptist.

Here’s what they had to say about their motivation to not only host the concerts again, but to expand the number they will be performing:

The clock is truly ticking for sweet little Lydia Rachal who is afflicted with Sanfilippo syndrome, commonly called childhood Alzheimer’s.

She is now three years old and so far hasn’t experienced the inevitable symptoms of this dreaded fatal disease , but unless something happens and happens soon, terrible things will occur.

There have been some encouraging results from experimental clinical trials in which treatments have shown to diminish the symptoms.

Lydia’s family and others like them across the country and world are anxiously awaiting approval by the FDA of these trials and when the approval comes, there must be money available to actually conduct the trials .

That’s why continued support from our community and communities across the country and world are so important.

We are proud and excited to be doing our small part to try and help Lydia and the other children literally to LIVE. That’s why we are presenting this series of 2025 Save Lydia Concerts and are using the theme “The clock is ticking”, because for Lydia and the others it truly is.
