Everyone is invited to participate in the 2025 Hope “Fore” Harper Golf Tournament on August 9, 2025, at Twin Acres Golf Course in Cola, Iowa. This special event is dedicated to raising awareness of Sanfilippo Syndrome and supporting the Jamison family and Cure Sanfilippo Foundation.

Enjoy a day packed with golf, giving, and great company. Play in this four-person, best-shot tournament, enjoy a community lunch, and celebrate the day’s success with a lively “Tee Time to Bid Time” auction afterwards with Harper and her family.

Harper Jamison, now 6 years old, was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome in March 2023. Sanfilippo, also known as childhood Alzheimer’s, is a rare terminal genetic disorder that causes fatal damage to children’s brains and bodies. It is a terminal, degenerative disease that causes children to lose all the skills they’ve gained, suffer seizures and movement disorders, experience pain and suffering, dementia, and then die usually in their teen years. It affects children of every gender, race, socio-economic level, nationality, and geographic area.

The 2025 Hope “Fore” Harper Golf Tournament will spread awareness about Sanfilippo and raise funds to support the Jamison family during their precious time with Harper and benefit Cure Sanfilippo Foundation’s research efforts towards finding treatments and a cure.

The majority of tournament proceeds will be donated directly to Cure Sanfilippo Foundation to advance research towards treatments and a potential cure. The Jamison family will retain a small portion of the funds to cover travel expenses for attending a Sanfilippo family support group in Florida, where they can connect with essential resources and community support.
