In this small group, hands-on workshop, we dive into the language of your child’s insurance policy to help reduce your guesswork. This series will include how to access and interpret your primary and/or secondary coverage, Medicaid and waiver options in your state, appeals, formularies and drug coverage, and more.
This first week of workshops will cover the basics of your child’s health insurance, including how to find the full policy documents and Medicaid information for your state. You will walk away with more knowledge about where to find the information you need in your policy documents.
Registration is required for this workshop series and participation is capped at 8 for each session to allow time to walk through your policies together. This workshop is geared toward United States health insurance policies. Sharing your individual policy is optional and you are welcome to attend, regardless.
Each session during this first workshop series will cover the same topics so you need only select the time that works best for you.
