Recently, The Heart of Eureka Podcast featured the Wackers, a local family whose daughter Gianna was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome in 2022. Her parents Jason and Theresa were guests of the podcasts, sharing their journey of seeking answers to help their oldest daughter with Sanfilippo Syndrome, a terminal illness, while raising four young kids and the importance of a strong community network.
I’ve never recorded a podcast and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. But I’ll never say no to advocating for our G and spreading awareness of this terrible disease. We truly felt God’s presence surrounding us and lifting us up when we were sharing our hearts.
